Nail and cedar basket 
Basket woven with rattan base, bulrush, dragon tree (Dracaena), iris, philodendron, wire and baling twine. It is coated with handmade paper and stitched with old nails found in the Broken Hill region. The stakes are from cedar tree. Cedar tree (Melia azedarach) is not native to this region. It is a native of northern Australia and SE Asia. However, it was a popular garden tree in Broken Hill in the early days.
