Balranald Workshop

I had a delightful few days at Balranald  on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River and at the gateway to the dry country. Lots of basket making material by the river... bulrush, sedge and willow and inland in the mallee hills are patches of Dodder Vine - wonderful for basket making. The workshop was at the local art gallery , a must if you are passing through. An enthusiastic group of women made some wonderful creations that reflected their part of the world.
